Closed Memorial Day
Freedom is a precious gift. On Monday, May 25th, we remember the brave people who paid the ultimate price for it. We want to express our deepest gratitude to the service members who laid down their lives for our country. As we honor their memory, we want to give our hardworking team time to reflect and gather with family. Because of this, Cherokee and North Fulton Feed will be closed all day.
Make sure you have all the supplies you need for the long weekend. Please come see us this week! Stock up on feed and farm essentials before the holiday closure. Our team will happily help you find exactly what you need and load up your truck.
The Origins of Memorial Day
Memorial Day started shortly after the Civil War. Back then, Americans called it Decoration Day. They honored fallen soldiers by decorating their resting places with bright spring flowers. Congress officially made it a national holiday in 1971. Today, it remains a vital time of national remembrance.
